Moose Mania aired April 17th and 19th,
2003 on the Animal Planet television channel. It is a whimsical
look at a serious subject: how the reintroduction of wolves and grizzlies
has affected moose herds run amuck in Grand Teton National Park. Produced
by award-winning cinematographer Peter Roberts, Moose Mania features
several television firsts: dramatic footage of a moose feeding underwater,
vivid imagery of a moose dream and an eminent biologist tossing snowballs
at moose from inside a two-person moose suit.
